Joint Nordic Evaluation of the Nordic Development Fund (NDF)

The Nordic Development Fund (NDF) is an international financing institution established by the governments of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in 1988 as part of the Nordic countries’ co-operation on development assistance.

In June 2018, it was decided to commission a joint evaluation of the Nordic Development Fund to inform a strategic discussion on the future of the Fund. EBA Sweden will administer the evaluation process and tender it internationally for an independent evaluation. The Evaluation Departments in Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark will support the process technically as members of the tender committee and the evaluation reference group. All five countries will equally contribute to the costs of the evaluation.
