18th International Anti-corruption Conference High-level Segment, Copenhagen 22 October 2018

Meeting venue
The venue of the IACC is Bella Center in Copenhagen. The venue offers hotel accommodation and is located close to Copenhagen Airport and in walking distance from the Metro.

Registration
Registration for delegations can be done at the on-line REGISTRATION FORM.

Delegations are kindly requested to register for the IACC high-level segment no later than 1 October 2018.  Any changes in the composition of delegations hereafter must be forwarded to iacchighlevel@um.dk.

Badges for delegations will be ready for pick-up upon arrival at the Bella Center on Monday 22 October 2018.

Badges and Access
Each delegation will be provided with the following badges:
  ◾ 1 pin for Head of Delegation
  ◾ Red badges for each member of the delegation

Accommodation
Delegations will be responsible for booking and meeting the costs of accommodation. Delegates are recommended to stay at the meeting venue, Hotel Bella Sky. The Bella Sky Hotel is located within walking distance of the metro, and it is possible to walk indoors directly to the conference location and with easy access to the delegation rooms.

Rooms at the Bella Sky Hotel are available at a discounted rate for delegations at the price of DKK 1,270 per room per night, incl. breakfast. These rates will only apply between 21 – 22 October. Please note that each delegation will be allowed to book a maximum of 4 rooms in total at this rate.

Delegations are kindly asked to make reservations before 20 August 2018.

Bookings are non-refundable after booking and in the case of no-shows, delayed arrival or early departure the hotel is entitled to payment equivalent to the full price of the original reservation (all nights) and this will be charged to the guests own credit card.

Delegation rooms
A number of delegation rooms will be available at the Bella Center conference facility. Requests for delegation rooms should be directed to iacchighlevel@um.dk.

Security
Security at Bella Center will be conducted by Danish Security and Intelligence Service (DSIS) in close cooperation with Copenhagen Police and Bella Center Security.

If any delegation includes close protection officers, these officers will have to be announced through your representation in Denmark or your representation covering Denmark to the IACC High Level Secretariat on iacchighlevel@um.dk.

Interpretation
During the opening ceremony and opening plenary interpretation will be available in all six UN languages, i.e. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

During the closed political sessions of the high-level segment interpretation will be available in English and French.

The open panel debates in the afternoon will not have interpretation available. The language of these sessions will English.

Travel Arrangements and Visas
Please note that delegations cover their own expenses for international travels. Participants are kindly reminded to ensure that they hold the required legal documents to travel to Denmark (e.g. valid Schengen visa). Please make sure to initiate the visa application process well in advance of 22 October as it can take up to three weeks to obtain a visa. Applications can be lodged three months prior to the visit.

Transport in Denmark
Delegations are requested to make their own arrangements for transport throughout their stay in Denmark.

Hotel Bella Sky offers complimentary shuttle bus service with Wi-Fi between Copenhagen Airport and Hotel Bella Sky. The shuttle bus departs every 30 minutes from 06:00 in the morning until 23:00 in the evening outside Terminal 2 by the Bella Sky stop sign. It has a capacity of up to 15 passengers.

Return to the airport can be booked at the reception.

Parking
Parking spaces are available at the Bella Center venue at DKK 100 per day.
